Job Description: Administration, Operations and Integration Lead


Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant, Operations and integration lead and Pa to Lead Pastors. This role involves providing essential support in various aspects of office management, event coordination, guest hospitality, and assisting the leadership team with their tasks. Helping establish and maintain strong systems and integrating people into the church and movement.

The successful candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, along with honesty and trustworthiness, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining efficient operations. They will be proactive, solution minded and very reliable, a person of initiative and a lover of Jesus Christ and His Church.

Working Hours and Schedule: The Employee's working hours shall be 28 hours per week, as follows:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9 am to 3pm

  • Thursday 9am-1pm

  • Sunday: 9 am to 1 pm & 4.30-6.30pm

Salary: The Employee's salary shall be paid at an hourly rate of £13.

  • Monthly Salary £1,577.33

  • Annual Salary: £18,928

Responsibilities:

Office Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a well-organized and functional environment, with strong effective systems in place.

  • Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, record-keeping, filing, and correspondence.

  • Facilitate effective communication and workflow among staff members and volunteers.

  • Monitor and maintain office supplies, equipment, and systems, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.

  • Recruit, train and empower others to assist in administration hospitality and other relevant areas.

Event Coordination and Guest Hospitality:

  • Support the planning and organization of events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, and social gatherings.

  • Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, audio-visual setup, and participant registration.

  • Work closely with event teams to ensure smooth execution.

  • Welcome and assist guests demonstrating the VIP culture, ensuring their comfort and addressing any inquiries or needs.

  • Arrange accommodations, transportation, and other arrangements for visiting speakers or guests.

  • Target and recruit new lettings from businesses and educational organisations to boost revenue and welcome more people into the church facility ensuring that they are loved and served with excellence.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist the leadership team with tasks related to their roles and responsibilities.

  • Contribute to the overall mission and vision of the organization by providing efficient administrative support.

  • Stay updated on office procedures, organizational policies, and best practices.

  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Accountability:

  • The Administrative Assistant will be accountable to Pastor Daniel & Laura but will report directly to Pastor Daniel Harman.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in office software and applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.).

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle diverse tasks.

  • Professional demeanour and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Honesty and trustworthiness in handling confidential information.

  • Strong initiative and solution minded.

Trial period: The first three months of employment shall serve as a trial period. At the end of the trial period, both parties will assess the employee’s performance and suitability for a permanent position. Upon successful completion of the trial period a contract will be signed as a permanent position for one year.
